Hello,
I'm Elad Cohen, an Israeli self-taught Web Developer since I was 10 years old with 1.5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer at Yad2 and 3.5+ years of experience as a Web Developer at Studio Tefen.
I am a recent graduate with a degree in BSc in Computer Sciences.
I'm experienced in OOP, Front-end and Back-end Development for Desktop and Mobile Web Applications as well as worked in an Agile Methodology environment.

Full Stack Developer, Yad2
  • Improved Yad2's ad publishing system's maintainability by taking part in the development of the system's dynamic form creation for 15+ categories.
  • Prevented users from creating fake accounts and ads by developing Yad2's cell phone number verification system.
  • Detected and blocked unauthorized traders' accounts by implementing a Breadth First Search based algorithm.
  • Enhanced Yad2's neighborhoods data's precision by migrating to a 3rd party's data.
  • Upgraded Yad2's complex advertisement system by changing it to Google's DFP.

Projects
Coronavirus Prediction
This project aims to predict the numbers that are published in each day regarding the amount of Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and deaths.
In this project I used Python with the scikit-learn and BeautifulSoup libraries.
Corona Project
A website that displays information regarding the Coronavirus situation.
The website was built along with 2 other programmers, my role in this project was the server side development which involved programming the automatic information fetching from different sources as well as the server's configuration.

In this project, I used Python with the BeautifulSoup library.
Elad's Migration Tool
A flight simulator tool that helps you install add-ons that are compatible with some simulators based on Microsoft's ESP (such as FSX and Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D) to other simulators that are not officially supported by the add-ons' creators.

This project was created using C# with the .NET Framework.
Nuance client for Node.js
A simple Nuance HTTP client for Node.js.
This client makes dictation and text to speech requests sent to Nuance's servers via Node.js much easier.
Groupeat
A web browser extension that adds functionality to www.10bis.co.il.
This extension assists office users in organizing group orders from 10bis in order to pass the minimum amount of money that is required for a group order to be made.
This extension was created by 2 students and me, and was our final project in our BSc Computer Science studies.

This extension has a server side which was written using Node.js, Express.js and MongoDB, and a client side which was written using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML and CSS.
Coronavirus Game
A computer game that another student and I built for a course that I took in college.
The game was built with Unreal Engine 4.

About the game:
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is now a pandemic, and after a lot of research you discovered that there is only one more component that you need for the medicine creation.
Your job is to locate the relevant component for the medicine creation by completing different tasks.
